Have Your Say on Central Beds Draft Budget

Central Beds Council draft budget proposals are now live, and they want to hear from residents before decisions are made.

The draft budget proposes a combination of measures to balance the council’s finances, including: 

• A 5% Council Tax increase
• Further cost reductions across the council
• A review of grants to voluntary and community groups
• Increases to some fees and charges
• Changes to some services, such as reduced opening hours and maintenance schedules
